While the room decor was nice and the air conditioning effective, the strong smell of cleaning products and poor lighting made it hard to relax. the friendly staff and lovely nearby cafes added charm to our family getaway, and the proximity to beautiful landmarks like Lake Apex Park enhanced our stay. I will return, hoping for fewer mosquitoes!

The hotel had favourable location not far from shops and cafes, the lake across the road, and the Lockyer Valley or Toowoomba. Everything was terrific, nevertheless a few employees were extremely rude. The property room was well-designed and functional with very adequate kitchen and a huge king sized bed, as for instance.

A Fantastic Stay at Trip Motel Gatton
The room was clean and spacious, with modern decor that made it feel welcoming. I loved the kitchenette; it had all the essentials like a bar fridge, microwave, and a kettle, making it easy to prepare quick snacks. The air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable, especially after a long day of meetings. A quick two-minute drive directly takes you to Blackwater's excellent indoor swimming pool complex, perfect for a refreshing dip when you have some free time. The friendly young man at reception made check-in a breeze and was very helpful with local recommendations. it's definitely a place I'd choose again for future visits.
Zero issues.

I had a lovely stay, enjoying the clean, modern facilities and comfy beds. The kitchenette was handy for simple meals, and those little extras like earplugs were a nice touch. Just a heads-up: the road noise can be a bit much, so request a quieter room if you're a light sleeper.

I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely clean and spacious room—it felt cozy and perfect for a romantic escape! The bed was super comfortable, and I loved having a well-equipped kitchenette to whip up some breakfast together. Plus, the location is really convenient, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions and grab a bite!
Our experience wasn't all rosy. The air conditioner above the bed rattled all night—definitely not ideal for a romantic getaway! we had some issues with the door only staying shut when locked, which was a bit annoying. Lastly, I was disappointed that the room wasn't cleaned one day, and when I asked for help about damage to my car, I didn’t get any support.

I chose this motel for attending a convocation since it provides Gatton's own cultural centre, where all conference needs were well and truly satisfied. the atmosphere was conducive to focus, and I appreciated the easy access to local business information for the Kingaroy area and South Burnett region.
